What the course covers

01

What a language model really is

How it produces an answer, why it sometimes invents, and what that means concretely for your work.

02

Writing an effective prompt

Context, role, expected format, examples. The difference between an unusable answer and one you can use straight away.

03

Writing, correcting, translating

Letters, reports, proposals, posts. Keeping your own voice instead of getting bland generic text.

04

Images, slides and code

Generating a visual, structuring a presentation, producing a spreadsheet or a script without being a developer.

05

Automating repetitive tasks

Spotting what comes back every week in your work and building the process that frees you from it.

06

Limits, errors and confidentiality

Checking an answer, recognising an invention, and knowing which data must never leave your organisation.

What you will be able to do
  • ✓Get in one prompt what used to take ten back-and-forths
  • ✓Write and correct your professional documents far faster
  • ✓Produce visuals and presentations without specialist software
  • ✓Automate one weekly task in your own work
  • ✓Verify an answer instead of taking it on trust
  • ✓Decide which company data never goes into an AI tool

  • →Employees whose role is changing because of these tools
  • →Teachers, students and writers who produce text daily
